MESSAGE FOR CHRISTIAN SINGLES AND THE MARRIED

In the book of 1 Corinthians 7:1-9 (Please read), Paul the apostle's words to the Corinthians ignite a fire within my soul! He passionately declares that in that pivotal moment, it was absolutely splendid for Christians to embrace the gift of singleness. However, he also proclaims with fervor that marriage, oh glorious marriage, and the abundant joys it brings, are divinely ordained by the wisdom of the Almighty. While none shall dare to transgress the holy laws of God, this perfect decree grants us the freedom to serve Him in the manner that best suits our unique abilities and circumstances, a truth that often eludes the judgment of others who are ill-equipped to comprehend our individual journeys. Each and every one of us must fervently seek divine counsel, for it is through this sacred communion with God that we shall discover the path we are destined to tread. Oh, let our hearts be aflame with passion as we navigate the choices that lie before us, guided by the very hand of the Almighty!

To the Christian singles:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, as you navigate the journey of singleness, remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life. Take comfort in knowing that you are not alone, for the Lord is with you every step of the way. Seek His guidance and trust in His timing, for He knows what is best for you.

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Matthew 6:33 Use this season of singleness to grow in your relationship with God, to discover your passions and talents, and to serve others selflessly. Trust that God is preparing you for a future filled with His blessings and a partner who will complement your faith and values.

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4

To the married couples:

Dear beloved couples, your marriage is a sacred union blessed by God. As you journey together, remember to seek His guidance and wisdom in all aspects of your relationship. Pray together, for prayer has the power to strengthen your bond and bring you closer to God and each other.

"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 In times of joy, seek God's presence to celebrate together. In times of challenges, seek His guidance to find solutions and grow stronger as a couple. Let love, forgiveness, and grace be the foundation of your marriage, reflecting the unconditional love that Christ has shown us.

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." - 1 Peter 4:8 Remember that marriage is a lifelong commitment, and with God at the center, you can overcome any obstacle and experience the true joy and fulfillment that comes from a Christ-centered union.

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." - Ecclesiastes 4:12 May God bless you abundantly in your journey as singles and as married couples, guiding you with His Word and filling your lives with His love and grace.

MARRIAGE IS A DIVINE INSTITUTION ESTABLISHED BY GOD

Marriage is often regarded as a divine institution ordained by God in many religious beliefs and traditions. It is seen as a sacred union between a man and a woman, symbolizing their commitment, love, and partnership. According to this perspective, God created marriage as a means for companionship, procreation, and the fulfillment of human needs. It is truly believed that God blesses and sanctifies the marital bond, providing guidance and support to the couple throughout their journey together. This divine ordination of marriage emphasizes the importance of faith, fidelity, and mutual respect within the relationship, and encourages couples to seek spiritual growth and unity in their union.Build yours on the solid rock today,it would be secured to experience true conjugal Bliss; O yes! It's possible with Christ Jesus.

There are several biblical proofs that demonstrate marriage as a divine institution established by God. Here are a few examples:

1. Genesis 2:18-24: In this passage, God creates Eve as a suitable partner for Adam, stating, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." God then brings Eve to Adam, and Adam recognizes her as his wife, saying, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh." This account shows that God designed marriage as a union between a man and a woman, establishing the foundation for the institution.

2. Matthew 19:4-6: Jesus reaffirms the divine origin of marriage when he responds to a question about divorce. He quotes from Genesis 2:24, saying, "Haven't you read that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate." Jesus emphasizes that marriage is a sacred union established by God, and it should not be easily dissolved.

3. Ephesians 5:31-32: The apostle Paul refers to the Genesis account of Adam and Eve, stating, "For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." He then adds, "This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church." Paul uses the analogy of marriage to illustrate the relationship between Christ and the church, highlighting the spiritual significance and divine intention behind the institution of marriage.

4. Hebrews 13:4: The author of Hebrews writes, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." This verse emphasizes the importance of marriage and the need to honor it as a sacred covenant established by God.

These biblical proofs, among others, demonstrate that marriage is not merely a human invention or societal construct but a divine institution established by God for the well-being and flourishing of humanity.
